Community Service

We are proud to serve our local communities by providing excellent physical therapy care to all ages, but we are also proud to sponsor Baseball and Softball teams in Chester and Sandown, the Chester Raptors Football team, and the Chester Girls Lacrosse program.  Additionally, to date we have placed over 15 model skeletons in schools throughout New Hampshire. 

Our newest project is our campaign to help reduce atmospheric carbon by planting trees. For more information see our Plant a Tree Campaign page

Who We Are

Jeff Woodruff is a 1986 graduate of Duke University with a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.  He has over 20 years of experience in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, with special interest in Adolescent Orthopedics, Geriatrics, Amputee Rehab, and the treatment of injuries in performing artists.

Beth Swanson is a 2005 graduate of MGH Institute of Health Professions with a doctorate in Physical Therapy. She’s worked at Woodruff PT since 2005, and her special interest area is Orthopedic and Sports Medicine.  When not at work, she enjoys hiking, knitting and spending time with her husband, and their nearly new, perfect daughter.

Julie Kinney is a 2001 graduate of U Mass Lowell, with a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy.  She received her Doctoral degree from UML in 2006. Julie’s been with Woodruff Physical Therapy since 2003, and has extensive experience with adult neurological rehabilitation as well as chronic pain.  When she is not working toward the wellness of others, she can be found hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire.

Anna Szatela graduated from the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy in Worcester, Massachusetts in March of 2001. She is licensed by the state of New Hampshire, and is nationally certified by the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB). Anna has been with Woodruff Physical Therapy since February of 2005. She specializes in deep tissue massage, trigger point work, and sports massage. Anna is also certified in prenatal massage, and as an instructor in infant massage.
